River Rep announces Season 2026: FUTURE WORLDS, FANTASTICAL WORLDS, ABSURD WORLDS

River Rep is thrilled to announce its most ambitious season ever, including three Mainstage productions:

TOMORROW TODAY, a dark comedy set in a near-future world dominated by artificial intelligence. This World premiere is based on the AI-inspired writings of Paul Peditto. Adapted for the stage by Christopher Peditto. (May 23, 24, 30, 31)

THE NEVERENDING STORY, based on the classic coming-of-age novel by Michael Ende. This fantastical fairy tale opened to unanimous acclaim in River Rep's 2025 season, and is back by popular demand. Adapted for the stage by David S. Craig. Directed by Christopher Peditto. (June 13, 14, 20, 21)

Eugène Ionesco's timeless tragicomedy RHINOCEROS - a seminal work of absurdist theater that tinges despair with humor, and challenges audiences to confront the absurdity and irrationality of life. ( Oct 3 & 4, 10 & 11)
