The Delaware Valley Opera has launched a “Go Fund Me” campaign to raise money to purchase theatrical lighting equipment.
The lighting equipment owned by the DVO is minimal and with the removal of the lighting loaned by Collabonation Productions, purchasing our own lighting equipment has become a priority.
The Campaign goal is $25,000 to purchase basic lighting needs.
Please help us “keep the lights on” and donate whatever amount you can.
The DVO wishes to give a very special thank you to the Homestead School and River Rep for the loan of their theatrical lighting system for our 2023 season. They are solely responsible for our three shows having lights this summer and we are most grateful for their generosity and kindness.
We're celebrating our 38th Season in 2024! Join us in the enjoyment of great music, exciting live operatic singing and the passion of enduring music.

Exciting news! There is a fulfilling and enriching way to support the arts in our community! The Delaware Valley Opera Co. has a wonderful opportunity idea for you…
Become a Housing Host for the 2024 opera season. Get to know interesting and friendly people while making a much needed and appreciated contribution to this season’s productions.
Our priority is quality, so much of our budget is spent on artistic talent. To afford high quality productions we rely on the support of our neighbors in the community for housing.
A great deal of consideration is taken to match Hosts and Artists to assure a positive experience for everyone. This is achieved by each host and each artist completing a questionnaire with specific questions about needs and preferences of living arrangements. This process has proven extremely successful and the only complaints we’ve received are the singers are so busy they aren’t around as much as the host had hoped.
Each host receives a letter from DVO for taxes, thanking and acknowledging the in-kind donation of housing equal to the room rates of local B&B’s or hotels.
If you have an extra room, please consider supporting the DVO by being a host. And if you know someone who might be interested, please pass along information about this opportunity
Thank you in advance for your support of the DVO!
Suzann Dvorken, President
We have some exciting news to share! We’ve recently partnered with a program called the RoundUp App that allows you to “round up” the change from your debit or credit card purchases and donate it to us monthly.
This is a way for you to support our mission just by donating your change. It’s small change for you but truly a game changer for us, so we would be honored if you would commit to give in this way. You can download the app for iPhone, Android or create an account on the Web.
Please let us know if we can answer any questions or provide more information. Our mission would not be possible without you, so thank you again for your loyalty and support!
